Other things to note
Please bear in mind that you are very isolated. To get to and from the cabins, it is an additional 25 minutes from our homestead alone. This is all part of its amazing location and your adventure. You therefore do need to be organised and pack for all weather conditions, even in summer! We will have emergency clothing on hand however.
Wind can be a bit of an issue up top. Particularly NW and NE. We are working on some form of portable wind break for the deck- watch this space!
We don’t have Wi-Fi but you will have strong Celle phone signal for you to use your own data and access the web if needed. We encourage you to “switch off” however.
We don’t have a fridge, but we ensure all perishable food and beverages stay fresh using reliable ice, cooling blocks, and large chillibins.
We can arrange a helicopter transfer for you too if you fancy indulging. Perhaps a long lunch at Black Barn or Craggy Range Winery first before taking a flight up to us?!
If you like the idea of bringing more people up here, we are open to the idea of pitching a tent too. Ask us more!
We will open each season from summer until late autumn. If you aren’t scared of the cold, we aren’t scared to have you with us so please enquire.
