The Rabbiter's Cottage
The Rabbiter’s Cottage is a charming two-bedroom farm cottage located close to the Te Aratipi homestead.
Self-contained, comfortable and full of character, the cottage is ideal for families, couples, walkers or guests wanting to stay close to the heart of the farm. With its own private garden, outdoor fire pit and easy access to nearby beaches, native bush walks and farm experiences, it offers a relaxed country escape without feeling too remote.

Perched high above Hawke's Bay, Rose's Rest is a private ridge-top retreat designed for couples seeking space, privacy and spectacular views.
Surrounded by rolling hill country and big Hawke's Bay skies, this peaceful hideaway offers the chance to slow down, reconnect and experience life at a different pace. Spend your days exploring the region, walking the farm, or simply soaking up the views from the deck.
Featuring a private outdoor hot tub, outdoor fireplace, hammock, full kitchen and sweeping 360-degree views stretching from Te Mata Peak and Mt Kahuranaki to the Pacific Ocean, Rose's Rest is one of Te Aratipi's most special places.
Guests are warmly welcomed and transferred to the retreat by Can-Am, with the option to walk up if preferred.

“We had a fabulous 30th Wedding Anniversary staying in the Rabbiter's Cottage. The cottage is a quaint wee hideaway with a super comfy bed and a hot shower. On our first night we settled in by the fire pit out the back and were entertained by the ducks, chickens, lamb and calf. We also read the entire collection of cookbooks. On our second day we headed out through the native Bush block and wandered up to the lookout. Such a magnificent view of the greater Hawke's Bay and out towards the Pacific Ocean. Thanks Ro, Ed, Selby and Harry for the fabulous hospitality. We'll be back.”
