The Te Aratipi Day Adventure
A full-day hosted corporate experience for small groups 4–7 people
This is our signature Te Aratipi day — hosted personally by us, Ed and Ro — designed for small corporate groups who value connection, great food, fresh air, and a sense of adventure, all at a relaxed pace.
Te Aratipi means the pathway to the top — and that’s exactly where your day ventures, up and back again.
You’ll arrive at the homestead where we’ll welcome you with a relaxed morning tea and briefing on the veranda. From here, guests set off on a self-guided walk up through the farm to the highest point of the station, taking in the landscape, the views, and the space that defines this place. While you make your way up, we’ll head ahead to prepare lunch — drinks chilled, music on, and everything ready to welcome you at the top.
Lunch is served family-style at our Te Aratipi cabins, with sweeping Hawke’s Bay views. Expect generous, farm-style food made with care, seasonal ingredients, and plenty of flavour, paired with drinks to your liking and hosted Te Aratipi style. This is a long, relaxed lunch — unpretentious, welcoming, and designed for sharing, conversation, and slowing down.
The afternoon unfolds naturally from there. Lawn games and music set the tone before hopping aboard the Can-Ams for an off-road adventure across the station, including a stop at our hidden waterfall for a swim or cool off. From there, it’s on to the golf course to visit ‘The Ghost’ for a Trough-in-One challenge and a bit of friendly competition.
We finish back at the homestead with sundowners, croquet on the lawn, generous platters, and our much-loved homemade sausage rolls — the perfect way to wrap up a day that’s equal parts fun, connection, and ease.
