A wild live-fire dining experience in Hawke’s Bay

Hidden deep within the native bush at Te Aratipi Station, The Bush Table brings food, fire, people and place together.

The experience begins with a walk through native forest before guests emerge into a secluded clearing surrounded by towering limestone formations. At its heart is one long table - a place to gather, slow down and share an extraordinary meal in the wild.

Created in collaboration with founding resident chef Katie Bachman, each seasonal menu celebrates the best of Hawke’s Bay. Locally farm-raised meat, seasonal produce and ingredients from growers, makers and artisans across the region are cooked over live fire in front of guests and shared around the table.

This isn’t a restaurant. It’s a gathering.

A journey out of town, away from four walls and into the ngahere - where generous food, country hospitality and a little wildness come together.
